Beskrivelse

Mens du nipper til vin med utsikt over de solfylte åssidene der den ble produsert, får du høre mer om kulturen og dyrkingen av kanariske viner på denne eksklusive National Geographic Day Tour. Du lærer om øyas vinproduksjonstradisjoner og nyter syn, lukter, smaker, teksturer og lyder på en familiedrevet vingård mens du smaker på fire årganger, kombinert med mat på hvert stopp langs sansereisen.

Først, på La Casa del Vino, en 1700-talls eiendom som er omgjort til museum, vil den kunnskapsrike guiden fortelle historien om hvordan dyktige spanske vinprodusenter på 1500-tallet plantet europeiske vinstokker i den fruktbare vulkanske jorda – og dermed katapulterte Tenerife inn på den globale vinscenen.

Deretter går turen til Bodegas El Lomo i Teguestedalen. Se hagen, der sjeldne druer, som nesten er utryddet i Europa, fortsatt trives, og nipp til din første vin her, sammen med en signatur-tapas fra den visjonære kokken Jorge Bosch.
