Even though 8 million people visit the Yorkshire Dales National Park every year, it is a peaceful and tranquil area, with beautiful scenery. This tour allows you to discover the Dales in just one day, taking in stunning villages and historical castles as you go. First stop is Sedbergh, a picturesque town at the foot of the Howgill Fells which you will visit before heading to the Settle to Carlisle Railway line, a famous track whose viaducts feature in many films. Next you'll visit Swaledale, where you can enjoy the views of James Herriot countryside. - This tour is a guided scenic mini-coach tour, but there are times when you will have the option to walk up to a few hundred metres to take in a view or point of interest
- This tour is unsuitable for children under 5
- All passengers must have their own seat
- The maximum number of passengers allowed on each vehicle is 8 people
- Please wear appropriate clothing and comfortable footwear. It's recommended to bring a light raincoat
- Please note face masks are still required onboard all tours
- The maximum group size on each tour is 16 people
- Assistance dogs are welcome on this tour, please notify the tour operator in advance
- The vehicle can only carry collapsible wheelchairs and foldable pushchairs / strollers. Please note that this is available on a first come first serve basis, please contact the tour operator. Wheelchair users should know that there are at least 3 steps that customers are required to climb to board the vehicles
- The vehicle cannot carry large luggage, only small day sized backpacks, luggage storage is available at the Windermere Information Center for an extra cost
