Beskrivning

Denna variationsrika utflykt är fylld av kontraster. Utflykten tar dig tillbaka till naturen i det berömda naturreservatet Fjärilsdalen, innan vi tar båten över till den lilla sömniga ön Chalki.

Du åker genom Rhodos bördiga inland på morgonen, till det ekologiska naturområdet Fjärilsdalen. Här kan du vandra under skogens trädkronor, vid sidan av vattenfall och dammar med ett rikt naturliv. Från mitten av juni till mitten av september är detta område hem för hundratusentals fjärilar av släktet Callimorpha, lockade av kådan från träden av Storaxsläktet.

Sedan bär det av tillbaka till kusten där du går ombord på båten till Chalki. Denna sömniga ö bjuder på vackra hus utspridda runt hamnen där små fiskebåtar ligger förtöjda. Ta en promenad och njut av den idylliska atmosfären och få en känsla av det traditionella grekiska ö-livet. Det kommer också att finnas tid för ett uppfriskande eftermiddagsdopp i Chalkis klara vatten.

    Vi upplevde att det var för mycket transport för en så kort utflykt. Ön var fantastisk men bussen, båten och stoppet på fjärilsparken var för långtråkigt. Vi hade sett fram emot en lugn vistelse på ön.

    Fjärilsdalen var bra. Men båtturen över till Chalki var värsta på länge. Vi var lätt 100 personer för mycket på båten. Många mådde jätte dåligt. Inkl mig själv då jag haft svårt att vara instängd Fick nästan trampa mig fram och gjorde andra irriterande på mig då jag måste få luft. En plåtburk i 40 gr utan AC och över fullt. Tog ett dygn innan jag blev människa. Önskar gärna pengar tillbaka iallafall ö resan..

    En fin och trevlig dag. En fantastiskt upplevelse i Fjärilsdalen men hade önskat mer tid där. Vi är nöjda men dagen blev lång.

    Resan var för lång. Det står att den är 8 h men i själva verket var den nästan 12 h vilket är för mycket. Tiden i Fjärilsdalen var för kort och tiden på ön för lång. Om ni ärligen talar om hur lång resan i verkligheten är så blir folk mindre besvikna. Ärlighet varar längst. I övrigt hade vi en mycket bra vistelse på Rhodos så den här trippen var enda smolket i glädjebägaren.

    It was nice to get out of the hotel however the day started at 07:00 and didnt end till about 19:00. If we had known it would be 12 hours plus we wouldnt have bothered. The butterfly thing was out of season so was just a walk in the woods whilst Chalki Island had some charms there was next to nothing to do as it was end of season.
