Peddle through the monumental Forest of Chambord, 13.000 acres of lush greenery enclosed by 32 km of stone walls, unique in Europe. After an enjoyable ride through century-old trees, marvel at the sumptuous Château de Chambord, a symbol of the French Renaissance in the Loire Valley.

During the guided tour of Chambord, your guide will show you the emblematic rooms of this chateau still shrouded in mystery. Stroll through this UNESCO Heritage Classified Property. Choose your lunch spot (not included), enjoy a picnic or make the most of the different options available to you on the grounds. Allow yourself a glass of local wine.

Back on the saddle for the return journey to Chateau de Villesavin, built by Jean le Breton, a minister under François 1er, and supervisor of the construction of the Chateau de Chambord. Wander around this charming family-run chateau, property of and home, since the 1930s, to the Count and Countess of Villesavin. Enjoy a bucolic treat under the linden tree planted in 1900 and taste local specialties.

  • It is strictly required to have a ticket to access the vans at the beginning of the tour, including children. If the child ticket has not been reserved, no additions will be accepted on the day of the tour
  • You must be used to riding a bike and in good physical condition to participate in this tour
  • The local snack included in the tour: biscuit from the Chambord biscuit factory, local fruit syrups, 1 glass of wine (the minimum drinking age is 18 years)
  • The snack cannot be changed on the day of the excursion. If you have any food allergies, please inform directly the local tour provider. You will find their contact number on the voucher after booking
  • It is recommended to wear suitable clothing and comfortable sports shoes
  • In case of heavy rain, the bike tour may be replaced by the same tour in a minibus. The decision will be made with the whole group at the time of departure
  • Lunch is not included in the tour, you can either come with your picnic in the morning or buy a sandwich/salad at a nice French Boulangerie or around Chambord
