Meze lunch
Fantastic trip, lots to see like the gorge and Lara beach. Good and plentiful lunch and to top it a boat trip to the Blue Lagoon with warm water for a swim. Take your snorkel and it’s even better! For those having mobility problems, the gorge is a 2 km trek and the beach is down a steep path.
On this trip, you'll explore the Akamas Peninsula by land and sea but not in your typical coach set-up. Instead, you'll travel in a 4x4 vehicle, perfect for navigating the area’s rugged terrain. Known for its stunning natural beauty, this region promises breathtaking views and memorable experiences.
The adventure begins at Lara Beach, home to a turtle conservation project that has been protecting endangered sea turtles for decades. After some time to explore and enjoy the beach, your guide will take you to Latchi harbour. Here, you'll board a boat and cruise to the Blue Lagoon, a beautiful bay known for its clear, turquoise waters, perfect for a refreshing swim. If you're lucky, you might even see some turtles.
Once back in Latchi, you’ll enjoy a traditional meze-style lunch at a local restaurant, giving you a taste of authentic Cypriot cuisine before heading back from your Akamas adventure.
