Excellent tour guide, Mikele was really knowledgeable and even made the coach journey interesting. Well organised and very prompt. Patrizia was an excellent teacher at Pompeii and really made the tour more interesting.
On this tour you can spend a full day exploring the area around Vesuvius, while also visiting the archaeological site of Pompeii.
With a shared group, you will enjoy a 2.5h guided tour of Pompeii and learn all historical facts behind its destruction. Then you will be taken up to 1000m of Mount Vesuvius, where you may take the last 200m by foot up to the top. There you can stare down into the mouth of the volcano and then take in the breathtaking 360-degree panorama of the surrounding areas. After enjoying the remarkable vista, your coach will return you to your starting place.
