Skiathos sea and sun cruise

Booked trip to see north island as buses don’t go, especially Kastro, old capital but due to rough seas could only see briefly from boat along with Lalaria beach. Sea was very choppy and captain will only go if safe. Went other way round due to this & stopped at Tsougrias first for hour then went to another beach past Koukounaries before lunch at Katigiorgis on Greek mainland which was pretty. Not a lot to see other than views/beaches but expect better if can stop in Kastro to see church.

I realise we have no control over the weather. and it's a fine line to need the revenue, not let people down against safety. But I felt the line that was chosen could have been an earlier decision on behalf of the older and young children. I am all for adrenaline ride but I did not feel safe, the waves were really rough to the point of the boats high and lows were something I haven't experienced before, all on board ere holding on in fear. Seating was uncomfortable. The beaches were shingly. The last beach was described as, on a par with the Caribbean, which it certainly was not.

Booked only because my wife wanted to see blues caves and lararia beach. Looks like a big lie .

Whilst I understand that weather pays a big part in this trip. All private boats informed their customers that they could not sail to lalaria beach yesterday evening. Had we known this we would’ve cancelled which is probably why we didn’t get told yesterday. We understand that the itinerary could be changed because of weather, it was changed for 2 stops at Tsougaria beach……why 2? And Agia Eleni beach by where we are staying (5 times we have already been there) Really disappointed. Not again

I think the advertisement needs to be more specific! It needs to say that winds 20 and above will lead to lalaria being missed out! This was the main place we wanted to see. If we’d known the above we would have booked the trip on a less windy day.
