Att göra – Konst- och vetenskapsstaden
Detta imponerande underhållningskomplex ligger i den före detta flodbädden vid floden Turia, och är till stor del ett verk av den lokalt födda stjärnarkitekten Santiago Calatrava. Ett kluster av sex benvita byggnader som för tankarna till gigantiska kotor av vissa förhistoriska djur, designen verkar både forntida och djärvt futuristisk. Medan projektet ursprungligen kritiserades av lokalbefolkningen för att gå vida över budget, har komplexet sedan dess blivit en av Valencias mest älskade attraktioner.
Hem till en 3D-biograf (Hemisfèric), det största akvariet i Europa (Oceanográfico), ett interaktivt vetenskapsmuseum (Prince Felipe Museum of Sciences), och det spektakulära operahuset (Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía) bland andra sevärdheter, har denna multifunktionella och familjevänliga plats mycket för att underhålla dig.
