Den antika romerska staden Itálica går tillbaka till 206 f.Kr. och har en imponerande romersk amfiteater omgiven av rester av hus och offentliga byggnader som låter besökarna återuppleva det förflutna och föreställa sig sina tidigare invånares vardag. De berömda kejsarna Trajan och Hadrian föddes båda i Itálica, vilket gjorde den till en särskilt viktig romersk stad. Dessa monumentala kvarlevor, upptäckta 1751 och utgrävda sedan dess, förklarades som en arkeologisk plats av den andalusiska regeringen 1989. Besök dessa imponerande rester och lär dig allt om deras historia och kultur idag!
