Beskrivning

Se sevärdheterna i södra Nicosia, den sista delade huvudstaden i världen, på denna guidade vandringstur. Idag får du lära dig allt om stadens historia - och mycket mer - på en guidad rundtur i den södra delen.

Först går vi till S:t Johanneskatedralen, huvudtemplet för Cyperns kyrka - en av öns största religioner. Det är inte den största gudstjänstlokalen du någonsin kommer att se, men katedralen är över 600 år gammal, så den är fylld av historia. Du kommer att få höra allt om det under ditt besök. Härifrån får du en lektion i cypriotisk kultur på Folkkonstmuseet, som är inrymt i ett gammalt palats.

När du är klar med att titta på alla konst- och textilutställningar här går du på en rundtur i Laiki Geitonia, en traditionell stadsdel som ligger inbäddad i stadens gamla venetianska murar. Här finns massor av gamla restaurerade hus, restaurangkantade torg och höga kyrkor, så glöm inte kameran.
