In the first part of your tour, you'll climb up to the top of the fortified medieval city walls of Avignon, discovering the city stretching in all its beauty along the Rhone River. Learn about its historical past when the papacy was established in the early 14th century. In the second part of your tour, discover the Roman and medieval architecture with the Roman aqueduct of Pont du Gard and the medieval village of Les Baux de Provence. You will visit this UNESCO-classified bridge, also the most amazing and best-preserved piece of Roman aqueduct in Western Europe. Climb up the village of Les Baux de Provence, located upon a rock at 245 meters of altitude. Stroll through its historical centre where you will see the Museum of Santons, the Hotel des Porcelets, Saint Vincent Church and beautiful houses from the 16th century.
Before the end of your tour, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the town centre of beautiful Saint Remy de Provence.
