Anne Frank föddes i Tyskland och bodde större delen av sitt liv i Amsterdam, där hennes familj flyttade när hon bara var fyra år gammal. 1934 bodde familjen Frank i ett hus på Merwedeplein-torget tills de gömde sig 1942.
Utforska Anne Franks liv på en rundtur i Amsterdam. Ett av de mest diskuterade judiska offren för Förintelsen, vars välkända historia upptäcktes postumt med publiceringen av hennes dagbok, som dokumenterade hennes liv gömd från 1942 till 1944, under den tyska ockupationen av Nederländerna under andra världskriget.
Den hemliga bilagan ligger på baksidan av ett kanalhus från 1600-talet, nu ombyggt till ett museum, där Anne och hennes familj bodde i över två år under andra världskriget. I närheten hittar du en staty skapad till hennes ära, utanför Westerkerk i Amsterdam.
