En gång i tiden stod det på en liten ö nära flodstranden, men eftersom flodens lopp ändrades står det nu nära stranden. Under årens lopp har den fungerat som en försvarspunkt, en fyr, ett tullhus och till och med ett fängelse.Därefter åker du buss för sightseeing och passerar bland annat Basilica Estrela.
