On day one, in the early morning, you will start your journey from your hotel in Marsa Alam with a drive towards Cairo along the Red Sea coast and then through the Eastern Desert. When you arrive at Giza, you'll be introduced to the last remaining wonder of the ancient world, the Pyramids, to see these colossal tombs and unearth their secrets before standing in awe beneath the Great Sphinx.
Then it's time to rest your legs and tuck into a delicious set menu lunch at a local restaurant, followed by check-in at the hotel. On day two, you'll check out from the hotel and drive towards Salah El-din Citadel, which is the icon of Cairo and was home to Egyptian rulers for some 700 years. Resume driving throughout Old Cairo with its amazing old churches, mosques, and houses until reaching the Egyptian Museum, which is home to the world's biggest collection of Egyptian artifacts, and wander spellbound through its main areas. Again, it's time to rest your legs and tuck into a delicious set menu lunch on board a floating restaurant. After lunch, there is a possibility to experience a Nile felucca tour, but this is always subject to weather conditions.
