Join this 1-hour tour to Garda Island across the Gulf of Salò. It will be a journey to discover the history and beauty of this pearl in the middle of Lake Garda.

Discover the magnificent Isola del Garda with a guided boat tour starting from the lakeside of Salò. Perfect for families with children or anyone who wants to learn a little bit about the history of this enchanting location on Lake Garda.

Departing from the lakefront, you'll drive out along the gulf itself in the direction of Porto Portese and Capo Corno. There, you'll pass the Baia del Vento and enter the Isola del Garda area where you will be immersed in a unique panorama. Learn about the history of this magnificent pearl located in the middle of the lake, and take some photos of its imposing palace in Neo-Gothic Venetian style. Afterwards, you'll circumnavigate it, and then return to the opposite side of the Gulf of Salò, seeing the historic Palazzo Martinengo Terzi di Barbarano, the Cathedral, and finally the Loggia della Magnifica Patria.

With your free time in the city you could visit the Gothic cathedral, take a walk along the Talvera Promenade for views of the mountains from the riverside, or you can stroll the handsome streets and piazzas of the city, browse the shops and try some local specialities like apple strudel.And on the next leg of the trip, you'll hop into a cable car in Bolzano and ascend to the Renon plateau in a matter of minutes. Then it's time for the narrow-gauge train journey though pastoral landscapes and pretty villages. A 20-minute walk away through nature are the plateau's famous earth pyramids – well worth checking out, though worth noting it's around a kilometre walk slightly uphill. These bizarre pillars can reach heights of up to 30 metres, and while one pyramid vanishes, further up the same slope, nature is already forming a new one.
