You'll learn why in the 10th century Abderramán III decided to build the seat of the Government of al-Andalus and the royal residence on the slopes of Sierra Morena. Without transpor of Córdoba: Meet your guide at the entrance of the Medina Azahara site, located at Ctra. Palma del Río, km 5.5, 14005 Córdoba, Spain. Leave the car in the parking lot and take a shuttle bus ( not included €3 per person) which will take you up to the point of entry. Look for the guide with the green umbrella.
