Ting å gjøre i East Side Gallery Berlin
Discover the culture and history of the Berlin Wall at the East Side Gallery with its impressive and historically significant murals stretching along a 1.3 km section of the remaining wall. In the heart of Berlin, take a walk along the wall and admire its beauty.
Just after the wall came down, 118 artists from 21 different countries started painting what is today the East Side Gallery, creating the longest open-air gallery in the world. On September 28, 1990, the Art Mile was officially opened, and a year later it was finally listed as a historic monument. Many paintings have been heavily weathered or even damaged over the years, there have been several efforts of restoration, one of the largest taking place in 2009.
Today, the East Side Gallery is one of the most popular sights in Berlin. Among the most famous works of art are "The Brotherly Kiss" by Dimitri Vrubel and the Trabant breaking through the Wall. The gallery is located in a great setting on the banks of the Spree River in Friedrichshain - with many beach bars that invite you to take a pleasant break during the summer months.

“Highly recommend buying this. Lot's of places to get discount at. Never had any issues with using it.”
