Situated in the heart of the Dutch Flower Bulb Region, the Tulip Experience provides a unique combination of a museum, a magical show garden (with 1 million tulips and 700 varieties) and an indoor picking garden that is perfect for all tulip lovers.
The Pennings family has been passionately growing tulip bulbs for over 70 years and are happy to share that knowledge with their visitors. In the museum, you will learn all about the history and growing process of the tulip, in the outdoor show garden, they will immerse themselves in a blooming sea of tulips and afterward, you are able to pick a bunch of tulips in the indoor picking garden (included in your ticket). In this way, you can take home a colorful memento of your visit!
The Tulip Experience also features a cinema, different art exhibitions about the tulip, a farmers’ market with local products, an adventurous scavenger hunt for children, and much more.
