Hop aboard in Limassol and grab yourself the best spot for stretching out on deck or on the nets and topping up your tan. Your captain and crew will steer the way south, towards Cape Gata, so that you'll not need to lift a finger all day. Local drinks are on tap too, including juices, wine and beer, so you can sip away as you admire the ever-changing landscape.

And once the heat gets too much, there'll be a couple of stops for swimming, snorkelling or just taking a dip to cool off. It's all completed with some lunch on deck after swimming at Lady's Mile Beach before you begin the return leg of the journey.

You're in for a wild time on this family tour to Pafos Zoo and the Blue Lagoon. Kick off with a morning seeing creatures big and small from all over the world before an afternoon an exhilarating afternoon boat trip. Alexia, one of our expert local guides, say, ‘The zoo is a nice and safe environment in the heart of banana plantations and on the Blue Lagoon cruise, you'll get to swim, snorkel and sunbathe on some of the most exotic waters in the Med.'Get the day off to a roaring start at Pafos Zoo where you'll have plenty of time to roam around the park. There are more than 1,200 creatures, including monkeys, tigers and reptiles. Be sure to catch the ever-popular parrot show, where you'll have a chuckle at these cheeky birds. What's more, lunch at the zoo's Flamingo Restaurant is included. With a cool dining area in a veranda, a clay oven and an in-house chef cooking up dishes made from locally sourced ingredients, it's an attraction in itself. Next, we'll travel to Latchi harbour to catch the boat to the Blue Lagoon. From here, you'll cruise out into the open sea, following the glittering waters to the Blue Lagoon, where your captain will drop anchor for you to enjoy the surroundings. Take a dip, snorkel or simply stay on the deck to sunbathe – the choice is yours. Argonaftis Cyprus Traditional Experience

A chance to explore the rustic side of Cyprus. On this family-friendly tour, you'll discover the remote Xeros valley on the back of a donkey. Pass through picturesque orange groves and quaint villages as you and your trusted donkey amble to the historic Sinti Monastery. You'll also taste local specialities and enjoy a performance of traditional music and dancing.Your laid-back adventure kicks off at Argonaftis donkey farm in Kelokedara. Here, you'll experience Cypriot hospitality at its best. Savour local favourites, including halloumi cheese and – if you're brave enough – zivania fire-water.After instruction, you'll hop on to your donkey and head slowly – or ‘siga, siga' as the locals say – up the Xeros valley to the 16th century Sinti Monastery. The complex fell into disrepair and abandonment but is back to its original best after an award-winning restoration. The area is known for its natural beauty, so you're in for a real treat. Your day begins at Avakas Gorge, perhaps Cyprus' most impressive natural wonder, with a half-hour walk through its deep canyon with sheer walls of limestone that form a natural, narrow tunnel.
