Retken kuvaus

Pieneksi saareksi Kosilla on häikäisevän runsas historiallinen perintö. Tämä ainutlaatuinen retki vie sinut aikamatkalle antiikinajan Kreikkaan. Retki aloitetaan Kosin kaupungista vierailemalla historiallisessa Asklepeionissa, jonka jälkeen suunnataan kauniiseen, mäen päällä sijaitsevaan Zian pikkukylään.

Kosin kaupunki huokuu historiaa – pienellä saarella voit nähdä monumentteja klassisen antiikin, bysanttilaisten sekä ottomaanien ajoilta aina 1930-luvun rationalismiin asti. Ajeöet valokuvauksellisen kylän läpi tutustuen samalla kaupungin rikkaaseen arkkitehtuuriin.

Sen jälkeen on aika siirtyä Asklepeionin raunioille – joka sijaitsee mäntyjen peittämän mäen huipulla ja josta on upeat näkymät Kosin kaupunkiin ja kaukana häämöttävään Turkkiin. Opas esittelee sinulle 2500 vuotta vanhan "Parantolan", jonka jälkeen on omaa aikaa tutustua alueeseen. Retken viimeinen pysähdys tehdään Zian kylässä, jossa voit vierailla kylän kaupoissa tai nauttia virkistävää juomaa tavernassa.
