Retken kuvaus

Hyppää El Capitano-katamaraanin kyytiin, joka vie sinut Cozumelin saarelle nauttimaan Karibian turkooseista vedestä ja merielämästä. Ihaile henkeäsalpaavia maisemia ennen kuin snorklaat kahdella saaren eteläosan kuuluisimmalla riutalla, Palancarilla ja Colombialla. Niitä erottaa toisistaan vain pari metriä merta, joten sinulla on valtavasti riuttoja tutkittavana.

Seuraava pysähdyspaikka on El Cielo, joka tarkoittaa kirjaimellisesti taivasta. Lounaaksi pääset maistamaan perinteisiä ruokia vilkkaassa paikallisessa ravintolassa, josta on näköala merelle, ennen kuin sinulla on vapaata aikaa kierrellä Cozumelin keskustassa. Täällä on myös mahdollisuus tehdä nopea kierros, johon kuuluu vierailu saaren sydämessä sijaitsevassa kellotornissa. After arriving in the pastel-painted town of Valladolid, you'll head to a lively local market where the air is thick with fragrant spices and the stalls overflow with fresh produce. Sofia, one of our local expert guides, says “Valladolid's market isn't just a place to shop, it's where you will feel the heart of Yucatan. The stories, the flavours, the people…it all starts there.” You'll head to a traditional mill to discover the ancient art of transforming corn into masa – the base of Mexico's famous tortilla. Then, you'll learn about the native Chukum tree, whose bark is used in both ancient and modern designs. You'll take part in a traditional Mayan ceremony before that well-earned cool-down dip in the cenote.
