Join a kayak and snorkel tour through the mangroves around Lac Cai beach. With glass-bottom kayaks, you can experience the beauty of this incredible area in a unique way!

Start at Lac Cai beach and follow your guide as you paddle to the mangrove. Admire the breathtaking sceneries around you and look down through the glass bottom of your kayak. Paddle through the mangrove tunnels and spot various types of birds. While snorkeling one of the mangrove tunnels, you will be amazed by the different varieties of fish, coral and sponges.

The mangroves are a very important part of Bonaire and are internationally protected by the RAMSAR Treaty. It is considered as a nursery for many species of wildlife. Back on Lac Cai beach, you can enjoy a bit of fruit punch with a snack and your guide will show you a place to spot turtles. You can snorkel here on your own, if you wish.

    Het gezin vond de tour erg leuk, interessant en leuke activiteit. Wat pech met het snorkelen aangezien de stroming verkeerd om stond, maar daar kan je niks aan doen. Stond wel bij de uitleg dat er wellicht nog gesnorkeld kon worden waar schildpadden waren maar dat hebben we niet gedaan.

    Mijn partner vond de muggenoverlast wel erg. Had zich ook niet inges.eerd zoals vooraf aa gegeven. Ik daarentegen had (ingesmeerd) geen last.

    Een hele ervaren reisgids met veel kennis en liefde voor het vak. Ik ben door ziekte beperkt maar hij stond overal voor klaar en hielp waar hij kon Hele leuke en leerzame excursie Helaas met snorkelen weinig vis gezien maar vele mosselen en spinzen. Echt de moeite waard!

    Het vervoer was met een oude legereenheden. We zaten los op een bankje achterin. Gevaarlijk omdat de weg grotendeels onverhard is en vol.met kuilen. Gevolg is dat wij enorme rugpijn hebben overgehouden aan een heenrit van een uur en een terugrit van Lac Baai naar ons hotel van weer 1 uur. De uitlaatgassen van de jeep adem je in. Dit was echt slecht geregeld.
