Dagens rejse starter med et betagende dyk ned i det krystalklare vand i en af Mexicos mystiske cenoter - en underjordisk flod, der er den ideelle forfriskende start på dit udflugtseventyr. Efter svømmeturen kan du smage traditionel festivalmad såsom »pan de muerto«, et sødt brød bagt i form af kranier eller knogler, samt salte tamales, som begge menes at trøste de afdødes sjæle. I løbet af dagen vil du også lære om betagende traditioner såsom »offrendas« - ofringer til dem, man elsker - og betydningen af de orange morgenfrueblomster.

Derefter smøger du selv ærmerne op og skaber mexicansk kulinarisk magi ved at lave din egen guacamole. Nip til lokale vine, mens en kok afslører hemmelighederne bag regionale smage og madlavningsteknikker. Lucas tilføjer: »Vi laver alle vores kæres yndlingsretter og -drikke for at vise, at vi stadig holder af dem. Og vi stiller endda deres yndlingssnacks frem på alteret - du ved, hvis de skulle blive sultne!". Udflugten afsluttes med en middag, der indfanger essensen af dagen og giver uforglemmelige minder og en helt ny forståelse for Mexicos rige kulturarv.

Enjoyed learning the history in an interactive manner. Pick up was late and found customer service via the app unhelpful. When the bus arrived, no apology for tardiness or explanation. Need to warn guests that the bus goes off road and the journey is extremely rough and it is not a suitable excursion for someone with mobility issues. During our visit, an abled bodied person fell hard. It's very dark, lit only by candles and a torch held by the guide at the front

Really enjoyed the evening. Unfortunately the pick up was 30mins late and no contacted us and the tui app was not helpful. Guide was very informative and the entertainment was great. Food wasn't to my taste but still enjoyed it. You may want to warn people how rough the road is leading to the site...i think I lost my organs on the way!!

Es war eine unheimlich schöne Erfahrung mit einem wunderbaren Guide. Maria hat uns perfekt durch den Abend begleitet, mit sehr vielen tollen Information und einer Wärme, die unsere Herzen berührt hat. Dia de los muertos hat nun eine ganz andere Bedeutung für uns.

We bought this as a family of 7 and even though it was 18+ we were informed it was suitable for children, this was confirmed from the Office with age of children given . This was not suitable for children and should never have been sold to us as this ruined it for all the party.

Deze trip was overweldigend en een bijzondere ervaring. De gids wist ons veel informatie te geven. Op het einde was er nog een verrassing dat we in de grot gingen eten. Dat was super mooi en net of je in de hemel was. Ook had ik zelf een emotioneel moment toen ik mocht vertellen over mijn overleden moeder. Dat was een bijzondere belevenis en de gids was er op dat moment voor mij.

Cozumel guided snorkelling and island tour from Cancun

Hop aboard a super-speedy boat headed to Cozumel Island, where the turquoise waters of the Caribbean and its marine life are waiting. Soak up the breathtaking landscapes before snorkelling at two of the most famous reefs in the southern part of the island, Palancar and Colombia. They're separated by a couple of metres of open water, so you'll have wall-to-wall reef to explore. Next stop is the shores of El Cielo – which literally means ‘the sky' in English – as it's famous for its peaceful atmosphere and giant starfish population, which you'll find covering much of the ocean floor. You'll also have the chance to see stingrays and other sea creatures during your time here. Afterwards, there'll be some time to relax and check out the views from El Cielito Sandbar, before heading towards the centre of Cozumel.For lunch, you'll get to try some of the region's typical dishes at a vibrant, local restaurant with an ocean view, before rounding off the day with free time to wander around Cozumel Centre. Akumal Monkey Sanctuary with ATV tour and snorkelling in Cancun

Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula is loaded with wild landscapes, and you'll have a chance to dive into them on this full-day itinerary. You'll tick off everything from a visit to a monkey sanctuary to an ATV ride in the jungle, with some snorkelling in Akumal Bay thrown in for good measure. Javier, an expert local guide, says “this activity is perfect if you want to leave the big cities and hotels behind for a while and experience Mexico's greener side. Cenotes, wildlife, beaches, jungle – you'll encounter them all.”You'll start your day with a visit to the Akumal Monkey Sanctuary, a place where rescued animals from around the area are looked after and treated. You'll be shown around by one of the people who work here, and you'll be introduced to some of the primates and birds currently being cared for. Then, you'll switch things up a few gears for an ATV ride through the jungle. You can get behind the controls of a vehicle as you head to a cenote tucked away within the greenery. These natural, freshwater sinkholes are unique to this part of Mexico, and your guide will tell you about their cultural significance before your chance to hop in for a swim.When you're done here, you'll make your way to today's final stop, Akumal Bay. This sandy spot is known from Tulum to Cancun as one of the area's top snorkelling spots. And that's exactly what you can do here.
