Ting at foretage sig på Den Blå Moské
Den Blå Moské, også kendt som Sultan Ahmeds Moské, er en historisk moské i Istanbul beliggende ved siden af Hagia Sophia. Den Blå Moské blev bygget mellem 1609 og 1616 under Ahmed I. Selv om det stadig er en fungerende moske, er det også en af de mest populære turistattraktioner i Istanbul og tiltrækker et stort antal besøgende hvert år.
Moskeen har en kaskade af kupler, seks minareter og et design, der kombinerer både osmanniske og byzantinske elementer. Moskeen inkluderer også graven af dens grundlægger (Ahmed I), en madrasa og et hospice..
Den Blå Moské er åben syv dage om ugen. Dog er det værd at bemærke, at besøgende ikke kan komme ind i moskeen under bøn, som finder sted flere gange om dagen. Om fredagen er moskéen lukket for turister i to timer fra middag for at imødekomme den ugentlige bøn. Du skal tage dine sko af ved ankomst til moskeen, og kvinder skal dække deres hår med et tørklæde, der tilbydes i indgangen.

“Die Tour war ok-ABER wir haben eine Tour auf DEUTSCH gebucht.Zwei Tage zu vor erfuhren wir per Whatsapp das es keinen deutschen Reiseführer gibt.Nach Whatsappkontakt meinerseits mit dem örtlichen Veranstalter-mein Mann spricht GAR KEIN Englisch und ich nur sehr sehr wenig :-(-hieß es dann wir versuchen das Beste.Am Vormittag hatten wir dann Glück und es gab einen deutschen Reiseführer! Nach dem Mittagessen und zur Bootstour sah es anders aus. Alles nur englisch - also NULL Informationen für uns”
