Ting at foretage sig på Nieuwe Kerk
Beliggende på Dampladsen ved siden af Det Kongelige Slot, blev Nieuwe Kerk (Nye Kirke), viet til Sankt Maria og Sankt Catalina, genopbygget efter branden i 1421 og 1452, der næsten fuldstændigt ødelagde den. Dens gotiske stil med mange nygotiske elementer skiller sig ud, og kirken blev senere ejendom for den kulturelle organisation kaldet Nationale Stichting de Nieuwe Kerk.
