Depart in the morning at 10am for a walking tour of Fira that will start in front of the centrally located Atlantis Hotel. Meet your local guide and join a small group tour.
Stroll through the white cobbled streets of Fira, a town of about 2000 inhabitants, where you’ll feel the old-world charm blended in with modern-day comforts. Visit Gold Street with the most interesting and beautiful jewelry on displays, watch a leather sandal workshop, and feature local art galleries.
Grab handmade ice-cream, walk a short section of the famous Santorini donkey roads, pass through the Venetian district surrounded by numerous churches overlooking the caldera, and reach Fira’s cable car. Enjoy a cable car down to the old port, a 5-minute panoramic ride from the top of caldera down to a picturesque small port. Walk at the edge of Caldera to reach the worldwide known from travel guides blue dome church in Firostefani.
At the end of the tour, get introduced to a wine restaurant located in the heart of Fira, where there is a unique wine cellar with renowned but also rare local wines, as well as Alcoholic beverages collected from all over the world. Optional wine tasting.
