Tämä jännittävä kolmituntinen buggyretki vie sinut Limassolista Akrotirin niemimaalle. Näet matkan varrella paljon maamerkkejä, ja pääset jopa ajamaan motocross-radalla. Eksotiikkaa lisää se, että kierros tapahtuu pääasiassa Isossa-Britanniassa, sillä Akrotiri on Ison-Britannian tukikohta-alue.

Turvallisuusohjeistuksen jälkeen ajat kuuluisalle Lady's Mile Beachille niemimaan itärannikolla. Sen jälkeen matka jatkuu sisämaahan Limassolin suolajärven rantaviivaa kiertäen. Kun olet ajanut motocross-radan läpi, näet hedelmätarhojen keskellä 1200-luvulla rakennetun Kissojen Pyhän Nikolaoksen luostarin.

Akrotiri Bay Buggy Tour from Limassol

The Akrotiri peninsula is your stomping ground on this thrilling three-hour buggy tour from Limassol. You'll see lots of local landmarks and even rev it up on a motocross track. The experience has the added exoticism of taking place mostly in the United Kingdom, as Akrotiri is British sovereign territory.The fun kicks off after a safety briefing, with a ride to the famous Lady's Mile Beach, on the east coast of the peninsula. You'll then cut inland and skirt the shoreline of Limassol Salt Lake. After roaming through the motocross track, you'll spot the dinky 13th century Holy Monastery of St Nicholas of the Cats among the orchards.It soon gets really dusty and dirty as you rumble over the Sand Hills en route to turtle nesting beaches.
