Retken kuvaus

Tämä retki ei jätä kiveäkään kääntämättä. "Saat selville tämän tuliperäisen saaren salaisuudet sellaisen ihmisen silmin, joka on tehnyt siitä kotinsa", sanoo Daria, yksi oppaistamme. Tutustut saaren vehreään pohjoiseen ja tuliperäiseen etelään ja vierailet matkan varrella Timanfayan kansallispuistossa, Jameos del Aguan luolissa ja viinitilalla.

Ensimmäisenä suuntaamme El Golfon laguunille. Daria kertoo suosikkipaikastaan: "Värikkäiden basalttikallioiden kraatteriin kätkeytyvässä El Golfossa on niin upeat maisemat, että sitä on käytetty Hollywoodin menestyselokuvien lavasteena." Seuraavaksi matka jatkuu Jameos del Aguan maanalaiselle suolajärvelle. Paikallinen arkkitehtuurilegenda Cesar Manrique muutti tämän muinaisen vulkaanisen luolan baariksi ja konserttitilaksi. Lounaan jälkeen pääset tutustumaan viinirypäleiden viljelyyn tuliperäisellä maaperällä sijaitsevalla viinitilalla. Maistat La Gerian ainutlaatuisia paikallisia viinejä ja saat tietää, miten tämä tärkeä teollisuudenala vaikuttaa yhteisöön.

Lanzarote julistettiin vuonna 1993 Unescon biosfäärialueeksi sen uskomattoman luonnonmaiseman ansiosta ja viimeiseksi vuorossa onkin retken ehdoton tähti - Timanfayan kansallispuisto. Timanfaya Volcanic Tour

This half-day tour is Lanzarote in a nutshell. You'll call in at El Golfo lagoon, journey through Timanfaya National Park and visit the Salinas de Janubio. We'll even throw in a wine tasting session to round off the tour.First up, you'll visit the waters of El Golfo - it's emerald waters have starred in many a Hollywood film over the years. But that's just an appetiser for the main event – the visit to Timanfaya National Park. Famed for its moonlike landscape is dotted with lava fields and black rocks, you'll see the ‘Fire Mountain', to name but a few.We'll continue the tour with a stop in La Geria for a sip of some local wine before we reach Salinas de Janubio, the largest salt flats in the Canaries. Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park with Transfers

Enjoy a day out at this popular, beautifully maintained Wild West, animal and water park. Near Puerto del Carmen, its 60,000 square metres of desert and gardens bristle with great animals, shows and cowboy and Indian adventures that'll keep everyone smiling. Cesar Manrique’s Lanzarote tour with Cactus Garden and LagOmar

With its vine-laden lava fields, exuberant architecture and otherworldly landscapes, Lanzarote looks and feels like something from a sci-fi movie set. This exclusive half-day tour takes in the Cesar Manrique Foundation and his Cactus Garden, followed by a visit to LagOmar.
