Retken kuvaus

Loma ja ruoka kuuluvat yhteen kuin aurinko, meri ja hiekka. Tällä kierroksella tutustut saaren keittiöön, samalla kun ihastelet sen luonnonkauneutta. Päivän aikana vierailemme rommitehtaalla, suolatasangoilla, Arucasin kylässä ja kanarialaisella maatilalla. Maria, yksi paikallisoppaistamme, kertoo: "Tämä on suosikkikierrokseni – ajomatka on hyvin jaksotettu ja jokainen pysähdys on nähtävyys. Lisäksi pääset maistelemaan perinteisiä kanarialaisia herkkuja upeissa maisemissa."

Ensimmäinen kohde on Salinas de Tenefé, jonka suolatasangot ovat tärkeä luonto- ja kulttuurikohde. Täällä on tuotettu merisuolaa jo vuosisatojen ajan. Seuraavaksi vuorossa on Arucas. Sen värikkäitä taloja ja kukkien täyttämiä puistoja varjostaa tulivuoren reunustama Johannes Kastajan kirkko. Pistäydyt kaupungin kuuluisassa rommitislaamossa maistelemassa sen kuuluisaa tammitynnyreissä kypsytettyä rommia, ennen kuin pääset nauttimaan perinteisen kanarialaisen lounaan perheravintolassa.

Päivän kohokohta on palkittu Finca La Laja – perinteinen kanarialainen maatila –joka sijaitsee syvällä, kasvillisuuden täyttämässä rotkossa lähellä Agaetea. Tässä karussa ympäristössä pääset maistelemaan viinejä, juustoja, Teror-chorizoa, kanarialaisia "ryppyisiä" perunoita, kakkua ja tilan tavaramerkiksi muodostunutta kahvia, joka kasvatetaan täällä. Opit myös valmistamaan mausteista "mojo"-kastiketta.

    De trip op zichzelf was uitstekend, wat absoluut minder was de mini tapas lunch, kwalitatief niet meer als een 6. Volgens de tui medewerker was de excursie voor iedereen prima te doen wat absoluut niet klopt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn dan is een helling van een kilometer niet bepaald goed te doen, bij de laatste stop de plantage was het goed geregeld mensen die slecht ter been waren werden met een auto op gehaald en dat terwijl de klim naar boven lichter was als naar het tapas restaura

    Beloofd was: beste trip om t eiland te zien en culinair te ontdekken. Locaties werden in tempo afgeraffeld, het eten was minimaal. Zoutwinning voldeed, maar de hapjes niet te eten. Rumproeverij: rondleiding met filmpje kijken, proeverij werd rap afgehandeld, belangrijker bleek de shop! "Kleurrijke dorpje": linea recta naar donker restaurant voor n tapaslunch van zeer slechte kwaliteit. Slechts 20 min. om dorpje en kerk te bezoeken. Boerderij: korte rondleiding , in restaurant was alles smerig.
