Poseidonin temppeli, joka sijaitsee Sunionin niemellä Attikassa, on kauneuden, salaperäisyyden ja ihmeiden täyttämä paikka. Sitä pidetään yhtenä koko Kreikan parhaiten säilyneistä antiikin temppeleistä ja yhtenä Ateenan kultakauden tärkeimmistä muistomerkeistä.
Arkkitehtoninen mestariteos, joka rakennettiin vuonna 444 eaa. käyttäen läheisestä Agrilesan laaksosta peräisin olevaa marmoria, on omistettu kreikkalaiselle Poseidon-jumalalle ja se muistuttaa hyvin säilynyttä Hefaistoksen temppeliä. Alun perin se koostui 34:stä doorilaisesta pylväästä, joita koristivat taidokkaat kaiverrukset, mutta niistä on jäljellä tänä päivänä vain 16.
