Retken kuvaus

Tällä toiminnantäyteisellä retkellä näet kesyttämätöntä Anatoliaa aidoimmillaan ja villeimmillään. Suuntaat syvälle maaseudulle Ahmetlerin kanjoniin, jossa voit uida, sukeltaa ja hyppiä kalliolta Taurusvuoriston sydämessä. Valittavana on kolme perheystävällistä reittiä. Çinar, yksi paikallisoppaistamme, kertoo: "Luontoäiti loi kanjoniin luonnollisen vesipuiston, jossa näet jopa Aladdinin kengän. Se on jännittävä kokemus."

Ahmetlerin kanjoni sijaitsee Karpuzcay-joen varrella myyttisessä paikassa, jossa kristallinkirkkaat lähteet tulevat esiin kuin tyhjästä. Täällä luonnonaltaat kutsuvat uimaan ja näet kalliomuodostelmia, jotka ovat syntyneet miljoonien vuosien eroosion tuloksena. Seikkailu aloitetaan nauttimalla paikallisesti kasvatettua, tuoretta banaania suklaan kera. Tämän jälkeen on aika lähteä syvälle luonnon satumaailmaan oppaan johdolla. Erittäin rahanarvoinen ja ainutlaatuinen kokemus. Meillä oli 8 ja 9-vuotiaat lapset (kohtuullisia uimareita ja aika hybäkuntoisia) ja he selvisivät reissusta hyvin. Opas otti lapset erinomaisesti huomioon ja kannustivat pieniin hyppyihin, tsemppasivat kiipeilyissä, tekivät 'high-fiveja' tms joka teki reissusta tosi hienon. Retken kuvaus on aika realistinen, huonon uimarin tai huonokuntoisen ei kannata lähteä matkaan. Hienosti matkalla on erilaisia haasteita esim kiivetä seinämää. Suosittelen!

Sehr aufregendes Abenteuer. Aufgrund des tollen hohen Wasserstandes waren wir fast permanent im kalten Wasser, was den Kindern trotz dicken Neoprene zugesetzt hat. Lästig waren die Katzen beim Essen am Tisch und der junge Hund, der gezwickt u Gewand zerrissen hat, und die Kinder erschreckt hat. Der gehört weggesperrt!

Der Transfer hat Reibungslos funktioniert. Fahrer und Guide im Bus waren sehr freundlich. Der Busfahrer hat zurecht die Auszeichnung „Busfahrer des Monats Juni 2025“ erhalten. Er ist sehr umsichtig gefahren. Mike, der Inhaber vor Ort, war sehr nett und spricht ein akzentfreies Deutsch, daher konnte alles entspannt besprochen werden. Ein riesen Dankeschön an unseren Guide im Canyon „Cigdin“. Sie war super motivierend, begeisternd, emphatisch…. Du warst einfach spitze ??. Weiterempfeling zu 100%

Perhaps Plancia was a source of inspiration for Hatice Adıgüzel, whose workshop you will visit next. Discover the skills and artistry involved in creating lamps and garden ornaments from gourds, and learn from Hatice herself what sets her business apart - her leadership in a male-dominated workforce, her commitment to empowering local women and her choice of sustainable materials. During a hands-on workshop, you will have the opportunity to create your own decorative gourd and learn more about Hatice's work with the local women's community. She pays her success forward by employing women to grow and decorate the gourds from their own homes for the business. They also make the snacks you'll enjoy during the workshop. Hatice's aim is to help women who are unable to work in regular employment due to childcare commitments or similar restrictions by giving them a convenient way to earn.

Manavgat River pirate cruise with swim stops

Ancient Side has hardly changed since its days as a getaway for legendary lovers Antony and Cleopatra. Uncover one of southern Turkey's best-kept secrets with this tour. You'll get to snap photos by the Temple of Apollo, discover the huge Roman theatre and explore modern Side, too. As Muzaffer, one of our guides, says, ‘You'll walk all over history. On the way to the Temple of Apollo, there are glass walkways over ancient Roman streets.'Side's location on a compact little headland is as romantic as it gets. Our expert local guide will give you the lowdown on the long history of this once-busy Roman port. You'll see the marketplace where slaves were traded, the Byzantine hospital and the Vespasian Gate. Then you'll head inside either the ancient theatre, which is a sight to behold – it seated up to 20,000 spectators – or the former bathhouse, which is now a museum with a small but impressive collection of the artefacts dug up here.But one of the most-photographed spots is the Temple of Apollo. Legend says that this second-century seafront shrine was a gift from Antony to Cleopatra. And just beside it is the Temple of Athena – zoom in on the frieze of Medusa heads. The star attractions of this full day excursion are shopping, riverside dining and a beautiful, wild canyon. You'll take a canyon boat trip and stop for a swim at Oymapinar Dam Lake. Narin, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘Oymapinar Dam Lake is one of the largest reservoirs in Turkey, covering an area of approximately 19 square kilometres. The lake is fed by the Manavgat River, which flows south from the Taurus Mountains and eventually empties into the Mediterranean Sea at Side.' Your tour starts with a spot of shopping at Dickman Textile Centre. If fashion is your thing, then you're in luck as you can enjoy browsing for clothing and accessories from leading brands with attentive shopkeepers. Summer tour of Pamukkale and Hierapolis with Lake Salda

This summer tour takes you to Pamukkale, which means ‘cotton castle' in Turkish – and you'll see why as soon as you set eyes upon its magical landscape. Heading deep into the Anatolian countryside, you'll also visit Hierapolis, and stop en route at dazzling Lake Salda. Muzaffer, one of our expert guides, says, ‘Pamukkale is like something out of a fairytale – a spectacle of terraces formed over thousands of years that look like a cascading snowy waterfall. Legend has it, the hot thermal springs here have healing properties.'Leaving Antalya early in the morning, you'll arrive at Lake Salda after a few hours' scenic drive. It's been compared to the Maldives for its long white beaches and multi-toned blue waters. You'll have free time to take some photos of this otherworldly spot. Then we'll continue to Pamukkale for lunch. Afterwards, admire the bright white calcite terraces – they look like icy stalactites dripping from pools of sky-blue water.At the top of these travertines is Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through the Byzantine Gate and marvel at the ruins as you stroll towards the vast bowl-shaped theatre. On the way back, you'll tuck into a tasty dinner in a forest restaurant, too. Full-day winter tour of Alanya with cable car, castle and cave visits

A tale of two cities, Alanya is a true mix of the old and the new. It's a bustling resort that's home to a medieval castle and picturesque old town, where you'll have free time to explore. To top it off, there are visits to the Damlatas Caves and a shop where gourds are crafted into decorative lamps. Our expert local guide, Aylin, says “this tour factors in lots of different topics, so everyone will find something to catch their attention regardless of their interests. Plus, Turkish culture's on show almost the entire time, so you'll be like an expert on Turkey by the end of the tour.”With this winter tour, you'll start the day at the Damlatas Caves. Filled with stalagmites and stalactites, the cylindrical chamber within is said to cure asthma – that's not a cue to leave your inhaler at home, though. Next up is Seljuk Castle. Topping a headland jutting into the Mediterranean, it was built in the 13th century on the remnants of Roman and Byzantine castles. You'll glide up in a cable car and to check out its watchtower-studded battlements and peer through the holes from where hot oil was poured onto enemies when they were trying to invade the area.Then, you'll continue on to a craft shop where gourds are carefully carved into lamps, with great results. After lunch, the afternoon is yours. Go shopping in Alanya bazaar, relax in a café, or go for a stroll on the gulet-crammed harbour or promenade before it's time to head back to your accommodation.
